PREPARE GRADUALLY. BUILD THE FUNDAMENTALS. GET FASTER LATER.
For students taking either the May 1 or June 5 SAT
Sundays, 1:00–2:00 p.m. Pacific / 4:00–5:00 p.m. Eastern
October 4–December 13 • 10 classes • First class $30
If your student is planning to take the SAT in spring 2027, you now have expert, affordable help. I'm offering a weekly online class this fall for students who want to prepare gradually and thoroughly rather than cram shortly before the test.
My philosophy is simple: go slow at first to go fast later.
I teach the tips, tricks, strategies, and time-management techniques that can help students perform better on the SAT.
But there is no trick that substitutes for understanding the math, recognizing how sentences work, and knowing how to reason through an unfamiliar problem. This is how students score well on the SAT.
Because we're starting early, we have the luxury of building fundamental skills and filling in any gaps before putting more emphasis on SAT-specific practice, strategy, and speed. As the test gets closer, students can work faster and more confidently because they're working from a stronger foundation.
In the second half of the school year, students will have the option to continue with the class, when we'll shift our attention more toward SAT-specific practice, test-taking strategies, timing, and speed as the spring test dates approach.
Understanding the fundamentals is like having a well-oiled car.
When everything is running smoothly, students can relax and focus on driving—
on solving the problem in front of them.
“Working with you was a great experience, and your SAT prep made a huge difference in my score. With your help, I improved by 140 points, from 1370 to 1510.
You explained concepts clearly, adjusted the sessions based on the areas I needed the most help with, and gave me strategies that I could actually apply during the exam.
I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is preparing for the SAT and wants to walk into the testing room feeling confident like I did!”

HOW THE CLASS WORKS
One live 60-minute online class each week
Enrollment will be limited to keep the class interactive and allow time for student questions
Carefully selected worksheets and SAT practice between classes
Answer keys provided for independent checking
A structured timeline so students know what to work on each week
Time during class for questions about concepts and practice sheets
I provide the instruction, materials, assignments, answer keys, and study plan. It is up to the students to participate in their own preparation by completing the practice, checking their answers, and bringing questions to class. (Homework is not individually collected or graded.)
